Fall is here! Well it is September 1 at least. In Texas I don't know if that constitutes cooler mornings with a brisk wind (we probably don't get that until November sadly). For the past five years Brenton and I have been traveling up to Idaho for another school year right around this time. Always pulling into Rexburg dreading another winter, even though it is September, but having mental images come into our minds of snowbanks 5 feet tall, snowy/icy covered roads, wind ripping through our bones, you get the picture. Even though in our minds we jumped ahead to the nasty winters, we always enjoyed the fall weather. I love wearing a thick sweater for the mornings and then getting to take it off by the afternoon. I know I thought I would NEVER say this, but I am going to miss taking classes and going to school. We loved playing in the intermurals in the fall. Our favorite Friday night date would be to go get a shaved ice and then going to a high school football game. However, we are in a new chapter in life and time to move on from the old and move into the new. Brenton has a job, which is really exciting and relieving. Which also means that we are going to stay in Dallas for a loooong time probably, so no more long distance moving!!! I am very excited about that. We are going to move into our new apartment on the 20th, which is really exciting because Cohen will now have his own bedroom instead of sleeping in our walk-in closet in his pack n play. We will probably stay in that apartment until we are ready to buy a house, yes I said it a HOUSE!! I am really excited to graduate from apartment living.....but we still probably have a couple years until we are to that point. I am in the Young Women's presidency in our ward, and I love serving with the other leaders and those girls. I am really excited for cooler weather to come to Texas so I can go outside more during the day with Cohen because 110 degree weather with humidity is just not healthy. And last, but definitely not least one of the perks of Brenton working for Southwest Airlines is that we can fly for FREE! I already have a couple trips planned for the near future for Cohen and I! So here is to fall (the season) in Texas! It will be great, everything's better in Texas, or so I am being told here :)
Even Cohen is excited!
The table with the books is his favorite hang out spot...until he gets stuck then I have to rescue him.
I can't wait for fall weather to come to Texas either and we've only been here for 2 weeks! It's sooooo nice when babies finally get there own room. And since you can fly for free y'all should come visit us soon!!! :)
