The fun part

I think I am finally in the "fun" part of pregnancy!  I am almost halfway done, and that is when I started feeling normal again with Cohen.  I am past the nausea, holding my head over the toilet, sleeping 16 out of the 24 hours of the day, gagging when I eat, boiling stomach of acid, looking like death part.  Thank goodness!  That part of pregnancy is not magical.  However I am now passing into the phase where I am feeling good most of the time, food tastes good again, I have energy, and I can feel the baby kick!  I have been feeling him kick the past week, and last night when I was lying in bed I could feel him kick on the outside of my stomach too.  Unfortunately Brenton was already asleep, maybe next time I'll wake him up :).  This is the part that makes pregnancy worth it and gets me excited to have another little baby in our family!
We had our ultrasound last week, and the technician confirmed from our earlier ultrasound that our next little one is a boy!  I was a little bummed at first, but Cohen desperately needs a little brother to play with.  I can't wait for them to best buds!  With having another boy so close to Cohen we will also save a ton of money, so hopefully we can collect our shiny pennies and get a nice double stroller.  Now that I will have two, I will definitely have to strap Cohen down wherever I go.  That kid is fearless and quick.  We'll see how this summer goes when I'm a bloated whale chasing after an 18 month old!
Here's our next little boy!
This little guy can't wait to have someone to play with!
But hopefully Cohen won't try to stomp on the new baby brother like he tried to on these cute baby ducks!  Don't worry I snatched Cohen up before he could touch them :)
