Almost a month!

Kyler is almost a month old! No wonder I am exhausted!  Night after night of getting 2 1/2 to 3 hours of uninterrupted sleep at a time starts to take a toll on the human body.  But Kyler is such an easy baby I cannot complain too much.  He is really calm and easy going, he just likes to eat!  I would say my worst exhaustion moment was our second or third night home, I was so out of it I for got to put a diaper back on him when I was changing him!  That was quite the mess to clean up, but it gave me a good laugh.  I am a lot more laid back this time around.  If I forgot to put a diaper back on Cohen and had a huge poopy mess to clean up, I would have cried about it most likely.  But Cohen has given me lots of practice of learning to go with the flow and not fretting about too many things because kids are resilient.  They will live through it and no need to worry too much!

It is so cute how much Cohen loves Kyler.  He always kisses him and waves bye to him when he is leaving the room.  Cohen will even give Kyler more kisses than me when he goes to bed at night!  He loves to hold him...for about 3 seconds and then he is done.  He always holds his hand in the carseat.  Cohen can't see his hand, but he'll just feel around until he finds Kyler's hand.  It melts my heart!  And when Cohen says "Kyler" it comes out as "Kyger", pretty cute.

Some things we love about Kyler:
He loves to snuggle and be held. Cohen just cried no matter what we did, so holding a quiet sleeping baby is quite nice!
His chubby cheeks.  I could just kiss them all day long!
He is pretty tough.  Cohen loves to hold Kyler's hand, kiss him, help burp him, hold him, etc. and Cohen is not the most gentle all the time, but Kyler has yet to cry because of him.  They have a special bond :)
He started taking a pacifier.  We are pacifier parents, we are very happy about this!  Sometimes I can't feed Kyler right when he wants, so this soothes him until I can.

I've had this feeling that I just need to enjoy everyday and enjoy the stage of life my kids are in.  They will only be this age once.  I will have only two kids once.  I will only get to see Cohen and Kyler at this age for not too much longer before they grow up.  Even though some days I am going back and forth between crying kids, change about 15 poopy diapers, and I don't get any time to myself to re-group, I am enjoying everyday and so grateful I get to be a mom to my two sweet little boys!  Motherhood is such a blessing and privilege!
